Charlie Elder

Charlie Elder is a journalist and nature writer. He is author of the wildlife books Few And Far Between (Bloomsbury), which describes his adventures in search of Britain’s rarest and most endangered animals; While Flocks Last (Penguin Random House), an account of his travels in search of the UK’s most threatened birds, and The Everyday Guide To British Birds (Bloomsbury), an RSPB guide to our most common species for nature enthusiasts and birdwatching beginners. Charlie has written articles on British nature for national newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Independent, BBC Wildlife magazine and the RSPB’s Nature’s Home magazine. He lives on Dartmoor with his wife and two daughters.
