Pat joined WRNS (Women’s Royal Naval Service) in August 1942 as a Special Duties (linguist fluent in German) Y, intercepting German Naval Traffic at coastal stations. When this ended transferred to the Admiralty & Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force to translate official German documents. In 1945-1947 Pat was assistant archivist at His Majesties Embassy Oslo, Norway.
Between 1964-1983 Pat was a BBC television producer working on such series’ as ‘So You Think You Know’ ,‘The Sky At Night’ with Patrick Moore and devised and produced first series of ‘Ask The Family’.
Patricia’s married name is Pat Davies.
