Margaret Simpson

Margaret Simpson was educated at Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School, Liverpool and read English at Newnham College, Cambridge. She taught in London schools for a couple of years and then after her children were born began writing novels.
As a result of these came offers of work in television and radio from which she has since made her living. She also continues to write novels, plays and short stories.
