Liz Hubbuck

A survivor herself, Liz is fiercely passionate about spreading awareness of child neglect, abuse, poverty and the trauma of living in care; and how that can impact people throughout life, and limit their chances of achieving their full potential. The care and encouragement of teachers and support workers – as well as her own determination – helped Liz to reach beyond these limits.

Liz worked for the Youth Offending Team in children’s services for 15 years; for a well-known abuse and rape counselling service in the south of England; and as a project coordinator for the national VAWG (Violence against women and girls) agenda. She’s now the Youth Engagement manager for the Hampshire and IOW Police and Crime Commissioner.
